USBWebserver CMSimple is an updated USBWebserver 8.6 with preinstalled CMSimple » and the following parts (2024-03):

  • Apache 2.4.58 (Win32)
  • PHP 8.3.4 (cURL and fileinfo activated)
  • MySQL 5.6.13
  • phpMyAdmin 5.2.1
  • current CMSimple Version preinstalled (password: CMSimple)

Apart from MySQL, everything is up to date as of January 2024. But MySQL is, on the one hand, uninteresting for CMSimple, and on the other hand, it will probably be sufficient for a few years.

USBWebserver is perfect for:

  • a quick offline test before you decide on CMSimple wink
  • the demonstration of your CMSimple website offline
  • the development of CMSimple websites offline
  • work on your project wherever you want, even if there is no internet available
  • offline tests before you switch your CMSimple website to the current php version
  • ... and much more

Of course, this applies to all php projects, not just CMSimple websites. USBWebserver is suitable as a test and development environment for all possible php applications with or without a database.
